The LALJI FOUNDATION, in collaboration with CCBRT Hospital, organized a transformative prosthetics and orthotics initiative at CCBRT Hospital in Dar es Salaam. This event, held on 18th December 2024, was made possible by a donation of 15,466,500 TZS from the LALJI FOUNDATION. The initiative aimed to restore mobility, independence, and dignity to children, youth, and adults with physical disabilities.
Key Achievements:
- 10 patients received prosthetic limbs, improving their mobility and quality of life.
- Strengthened partnerships with CCBRT Hospital to ensure sustainable support.
- Enhanced community awareness on the importance of prosthetic and orthotic care.
