Support Muslims By Giving Iftar For The Period Of Ramadhan At Magomeni In Dar Es Salaam

LALJI FOUNDATION decided to support Muslims with special needs by giving a package of food for the Iftar during the month of Ramadhan at Magomeni Dar es Salaam.

The main sponsor was LALJI FOUNDATION which donated 10,000,000/= Shillings million to help Muslims with special needs during the month of Ramadhan. Sheik Walid Omar was grateful to LALJI FOUNDATION during the exercise of distribution of a package of food that has reached more than 200 families to Magomeni residents in Dar es Salaam. This event was conducted on 12th April 2023 in Magomeni Mosque Dar es Salaam.

Sheikh of Dar es Salaam region Walid Omar has encouraged and motivated stakeholders, Government institutions, and development stakeholders to continue providing help to Muslims with special needs.

OBJECTIVES

  • To help Muslims by giving Iftar to families who can not afford it.
  • Helping Muslims by giving Iftar to those who are fasting.
  • To build a good relationship between Muslims who are self-sufficient and those who are not.
  • To encourage people to make donations, especially during the month of Ramadhan.

The steps taken as followed

  • To consult the religious leaders in the process of providing the Iftar.
  • To consult the leaders of the Magomeni mosque.
  • To inform the community of the residential area of Magomeni.
