On September 6, 2023, the LALJI FOUNDATION made a meaningful impact by funding prosthetics for children together with orthotic support and youth at CCBRT Hospital in Dar es Salaam. With a donation of 14,655,000 TZS, the Foundation aimed to improve the lives of young patients by providing essential prosthetic limbs and orthotic devices.
Objectives of the prosthetics for children support program:
- Promote good health and school attendance for children with mobility needs.
- Provide prosthetic and orthotic devices to help children regain functionality.
- Enhance self-esteem by helping children feel included and capable.
The LALJI FOUNDATION and CCBRT Hospital have committed to a six-month monitoring and evaluation process to track the progress of these children and improve future support efforts.
